Google will be the world’s largest media company by 2012.

Here’s why:
This is actually a very easy prediction to make because Google is unofficially the world’s largest media company today.

Time – Warner, the “official” world’s largest media company, reports ad revenues for 2009 at $5.1 billion. Google’s ad revenue for 2009 was $22.9 billion.

The biggest problem is that most people think of Google as a technology company. This will change as more and more people come to the realization that Google is indeed a media company.
