Tech support for the whole family

December 22nd, 2010 · No Comments · Web

In certain circles it can be bad to be known as “the computer person.” Take family circles for example. Inevitably the less technically astute members of the family will turn to the designated family computer expert for tips, tricks, and advice. While “Buy a Mac” may be the best answer, $340 laptops make that advice hard to swallow.

Thankfully, the folks at Google have created an awesome collection of (free) instructional videos especially for the technically challenged. What’s more, they have included a “care package” tool that enables you to share the knowledge while showing the love.

This site was built by a few folks at Google to help keep tech support a family business.

So hop over to Google’s Teach Parents Tech site and be sure to check out all of the videos. Hopefully, you have already taught your loved ones how to use email.
